Our Visual Behaviour Chart is a global tool used to help those who often seem to get carried away and "forget" even simple behavioural expectations. It's an A3 all-in-one poster that clearly displays common positive and negative behaviours, made from durable, washable plastic.
Visual aids make things easier for those who may struggle with verbal instruction due to auditory processing disorder, slow processing speed, distractions, anxiety, sensory processing disorder, or speech and language delays. The National Autistic Society has long recognized the importance of visual aids, stating that they can "make communication physical and consistent, rather than fleeting and inconsistent like spoken words can be."
We use the same Boardmaker Picture Communication Symbols (with permission) that are used by millions globally, ensuring a consistent approach with what the person is already familiar with, and increasing understanding. Our products are also compatible with your existing Picture Exchange Communication System (PECs) symbol library.
