Equipped with an anti-flare, brass frame nozzle, the GT8000 ensures safety and precise flame control. Its design is intended to minimize blow-out rates when held in different positions or when access is limited. The angled head and the included, attachable tabletop base enable hands-free operation.
Boasting a gas-flow adjustment dial, the GT8000 allows users to control the flame length. Powered by a piezoelectric ignition system, the torch requires no electrical connection. This system is based on a pressurized molecular reaction, where activating the trigger releases a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and igniting the gas flame.
With a maximum flame temperature of 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit, the GT8000 offers a continuous burn time of approximately 35 minutes at maximum fuel volume. The torch has a 35-gram gas capacity and a flame range of 1.25 to 5.0 inches. Additionally, it features a safety component that allows manual lock of the ignition when not in use.
